Suzanne V. Reese has always loved stories, all kinds of stories. She loves writing fiction because she gets to make those stories up, and it's not considered lying.

She was born and raised in California, before being involuntarily uprooted to Logan, Utah, during her teen years by her parents - who, as it turned out, were doing her a huge favor. She has been happily married to her prince charming for a quarter of a century and has five amazingly wonderful children, a son-in-law, and a hyper little dog. She resides in the Salt Lake Valley and is fortunate enough to spend her days as a homemaker - gardening, playing the piano, reading, blogging, making up stories, and basically doing anything to avoid housework. She has a degree in journalism from Utah State University and is active in many writing organizations.
