Carolyn Siemers was born and raised in Stockton, California. She attended college in San Jose, California, majoring in Nutrition and Family Life Education. A convert to her church, she and her husband are the only members in their extended families. Carolyn currently resides in a small town in Northern California with her husband Roger and two of their five children. At the time of this writing two of her children have served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Carolyn is excitedly awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild.
