Kevin Stott was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and was raised in Tucson, Arizona.
After attending a year of college at Brigham Young University, he served a mission for the LDS Church in Virginia. He then returned to BYU and met Laraine Graf, who he married in 1977.
Kevin transferred to the University of Arizona, where he graduated with a degree in Animal Science in 1980. He has since worked as an independent dairy nutritional consultant in Utah and Idaho.
Kevin and Laraine are the parents of two sons and three daughters. He has served in various positions within the LDS Church, and is currently serving in the Emmett Idaho Stake presidency.
His hobbies involve horses, dogs, and any reason to be outdoors.
