Barbara Ann Thackeray, a native of Fort Jones, California, joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at age 19. Since that time she has served in numerous positions in the Church including Primary President, Young Women’s and Relief Society Counselor, and Sunday School teacher. When she is not busy taking care of her family and church callings, she enjoys pursuing her other interests which include reading, sewing, and sports. She and her husband Scott are the parents of five children.
